Homepage of the
San Fernando Valley Bar Associations premiere website. Web Zealot developed,
designed, built and maintains the website. SFVBA is a
large website with many services and features for members
with content that changes daily.
Web Zealot is proud of the ease with which member attorneys
can navigate the web site as well as the amount of usable
content that is updated frequently, some content updated
daily.
Several features of the site that will be supported by
web based applications are still indevelopment: Membership
Directory, CLE Calendar and Listings, Membership Renewal and Membership Listing Change Form. We are proud of the collaborative effort between WZ and SFVBA and for their
confidence in choosing WZ and becoming WZ's first premier
bar association website.
Homepage of the
Sacramento County Bar Association web site. Sacramento County Bar Association web site is
a prime example of a sophisticated, clean, professional
web site design that gives the SCBA the look and feel
of a much larger organization than it actually is and
provides content and services more akin to those provided
by larger organizations. The homepage news scroll content
is provided daily by WZ and features legal articles that
are not readily available through primary local new sources.
Several features of the site that will be supported by
web based applications are still in development: Membership
Directory, CLE Calendar and Listings, Membership Renewal
and Membership Listing Change Form. In addition, SCBA
elected to develop the site in phases, this being Phase
I. Other significant attorney oriented features will be
added in the next phase. The complete site can be viewed
at
www.sacbar.org.
The is the unique homepage of the
San Luis Obispo Bar Association (California), new site which is under development and due to launch by winter 2004. This is an example of a client who actively participated in the design's "look and feel", require WZ designers to be creative in response to the client's very specific design goals and input.
Kern County Bar Association, a 400 member voluntary bar association, wanted to give it's members added value that only larger bar association's often provide. This is another example of quality internet presence, the professional stature and services that can be delivered to members affordably, making membership a necessity in that legal community. KCBA is provided legal resources through their Legal Resources On Line that a small bar association has not been able to provide until now.

Silicon Valley Campaign For Legal Services, a non-profit charitable organization
raising money for Silicon Valley legal service organizations.
WZ developed, designed, built and maintains the website,
all at no charge to the organization as part of WZ's pro
bono commitment to the legal community. This site is a
great example of static content designed and organized
in a way that is usable to the primary constituency: attorney
and corporate donors. WZ is pleased to support SVCLS.

Web-Zealot.com founder and CEO, as Executive Director and General Counsel for the
Santa Clara County Bar Association, conceived the design, functionality, navigation, organization and features of this state-of-the art bar association website. The SCCBA Board of Trustees was forward thinking in its decision four years ago to take this step. As a result, the SCCBA website has been recognized locally, statewide and nationally as one of the first bar associations to deliver traditional and unique bar services to its members through web based applications that allow immediate content and features changes to be made to the site on a daily basis. The site continues to receive accolades from legal professionals across the country. Web-Zealot.com CEO still develops and manages this site on a daily basis.
This web-site is part of Web-Zealot.CEO's creations, again, as Executive Director for SCCBA. She conceived, designed and implemented the site and developed its content. It was inspired by the increasing number of high-profile criminal trials, especially in California. The SCCB Association through the
CalCrimLaw101.org website is able to provide broader information and more context for the media coverage of these cases, enhancing the public perception of the criminal justice system.
Legal
Practice Resource Center
This is the Practice Area Resources feature of the San
Fernando Valley Bar Association. The feature is supported
by a web based application and database that allows updating
as frequently as necessary by an administrative process
that only takes minutes to post an entry and needs no
technical skill or experience to administer. It's one
of WZ's eSolutions. WZ also provides initial content and
ongoing content for a monthly fee. For more information,
go to
WZ
eSolutions/eApplications. To browse more of this feature,
click on Legal Practice Resource Center above.
The
Membership Directory is a database fully searchable by practice area, member firm name, individual attorney name, or location. Features such as biographical information, email, website url, pictures can be added as well. This requires no web-based application and is affordable and practical for a small bar association such as KCBA.
This
Calendar
is driven by a web-based application that allows staff
to post, edit, delete, change the postings in just minutes;
making the information current and saving the bar association
monthly maintenance fees. No technical skills are needed
for the administration of this application. WZ can train
the staff in literally minutes. Among other features,
the calendar can also be programmed to allow web site
users to submit postings that are then sent to staff for
approval before posting.
All WZ bar association clients have a
Court Center on their website. It is one of the most popular features of the attorney members. The reason: WZ organizes, in a way that is attorney intuitive, the content of the various state and federal courts used most frequently by the association members. The bar's website then becomes the one stop for attorneys to save time and energy accessing on line court information critical to their practice areas.
The
SVCLS, a non-profit charitable fundraising organization, wanted a basic web site presence and did not want to spend the money on more extensive web-based applications because it is not necessary for their purposes at this time. This is a classic example of a "static" information web site; but shows that information display and content organization does not have to be dull or simply one ongoing web page of text. Web-Zealot.com developed and designed and maintains the site as part of its pro bono commitment to access to legal services. Web-Zealot.com CEO serves as a founding and, now, ex-officio member of the SVCLS Board of Directors.
Judicial Profile is a feature being developed for SFVBA. Web-Zealot.com assisted in the organization and categorizing information for the profiles of their judges and in developing an interview form for SFVBA to collect the information. WZ created the profile template design to the "look and feel" of the site as a whole. Again, the objective is to deliver critical practice information to association members.
